Sneak Preview 4

This one is on the easel drying (and upside-down).
I have just sketched in the different parts and putting on first wash.
The size is 120 x 120 cm / 47.2 x 47.2 inches.

Sneak Preview 3

An old piece of wood that I am going to paint a skeleton head guy on it.
Instead of sketching in the character with pencil, I used a wood carving tool.
Notes gouges and scratches in the wood.
Next I will paint it with acrylic paints and add a layer or two of varnish.
Then maybe repeat that process.

Sneak Preview

Here is a sneak preview of my newest painting:

In Garden

Look what I found in the garden!
I was doing some spring cleaning in the yard and found this painting in a pile of leaves and old branches. I painted it on wood and stuck it in a tree a couple of years ago.
I put it out to test how it would weather. I see it has dirt, rust and some paint missing. Looking good!
(I also have other paintings somewhere in the back yard and garden area - testing to see how well the stand up to the elements. Now if I could only remember where they are....)
